Inspired by the sacred sculptures of the 28 Celestial Mansions in Shanxi’s Yuhuang Temple, 28Xiu reawakens China's ancient cosmic order. By merging mythology, cosmology, and augmented reality, this exhibition serves as a living portal into a rich astronomical heritage. It offers a contemporary lens through which to view and understand traditional Chinese perceptions of the universe, providing a new perspective on these ancient deities and the celestial stories they represent. The project aims to bridge the past and present, making a forgotten worldview tangible and accessible once more.
